Journal of Research in Business

The Journal of Research in Business began its publication life under the name Marmara Business Review (ISSN: 2536-457X) between 2016 and 2017, and has continued its publication without interruption since 2017 under its current name and the ISSN 2630-6255.

Our journal, which has been indexed in TR Dizin since 2020, has started to be indexed by Index Copernicus International (ICI), as of November 2022.

Journal of Research in Business (JRB) is an international peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal published online by the Faculty of Business and Administration, Marmara University.  The Journal started its publication life as Marmara Business Review in 2016 and changed its name as Journal of Research in Business (JRB) beginning from volume 3 issue 1 in 2018. JRB publishes two times a year in June and December.
 

The editorial aim is to publish articles to advance theoretical and empirical knowledge in the business field. Research articles in English, German and Turkish are welcomed, reviews are not accepted. 
 

Following the ULAKBİM update as TRDİZİN Journal Evaluation Criteria for 2020, regardless of the research date, JRB Editorial Board requires ethical board approval for scientific research. An ethics committee approval must be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines including social sciences and for clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals, requiring ethical committee decision, and this approval should be stated and documented in the article. Information about the permission (board name, date and number) should be included in the method section and also in the footnote on the first page of the article.

Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 20% will not be evaluated.
